Welcome to Power Butler, a division of IT Butler Group. By using our website, purchasing products, or making use of our services, you agree to the following terms:

1. General

Power Butler supplies power, solar, battery, and IT-related products and services. All orders are subject to product availability and payment confirmation.

We reserve the right to update or change these terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless stated otherwise.
  • Prices may change without notice due to supplier or market fluctuations.
  • Orders are only confirmed once full payment has been received.

3. Product Availability

While we strive for accuracy, stock availability may change without notice.

If a product becomes unavailable after purchase, we will:

  • Offer a suitable alternative, or
  • Provide a full refund

4. Product Use & System Suitability

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products purchased are suitable for their intended application.

Power Butler shall not be held liable for:

  • Incorrect system sizing
  • Overloading or under-specification
  • Incompatible configurations

Any advice provided is based on information supplied by the customer and does not constitute engineering certification unless explicitly stated in writing.

5. Installation Disclaimer

Power Butler does not take responsibility for installation unless explicitly agreed in writing.

  • All installations must be carried out by a qualified and certified professional.
  • We are not liable for damages, loss, or failure caused by incorrect installation or third-party workmanship.

6. Delivery & Risk

  • Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary.
  • Risk in goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
  • Customers must inspect goods upon receipt and report damages within 24 hours.

Power Butler is not liable for courier delays or damages once goods are handed over to the courier.

7. Warranty

All products are covered by manufacturer warranties. Power Butler acts as an intermediary and does not hold warranty liability directly.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Power Butler shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Loss of business, revenue, or data
  • Damages resulting from power failures, surges, or system misuse

9. Indemnity

By purchasing from Power Butler, the customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Power Butler, its employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or losses arising from:

  • Incorrect installation
  • Misuse of products
  • Third-party modifications
  • Failure to follow product guidelines

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.

Power Butler supplies electrical and power-related equipment that must be installed and used correctly.

  • All systems must be installed by qualified professionals
  • Incorrect usage or installation may result in damage, injury, or system failure
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring correct system design and load requirements

Power Butler is not responsible for:

  • System failures due to incorrect design or installation
  • Damage caused by overload, misuse, or environmental factors
  • Losses resulting from power outages, load shedding, or surge events
